TWFGB Joins Sister Foundations in Expanding Advocacy Platforms
Tracey Morant Adams, Senior Executive Vice President – Chief Community Development & Corporate Social Responsibility Officer at Renasant Bank, began her term as Board Chair for The Women’s Fund of Greater Birmingham on July 1, 2019. Tracey succeeds 2018-2019 Chair Leslie H. Carlisle, Owner of Carlisle & Associates: Philanthropy Consulting, LLC.

We are thrilled to welcome her as chair.”
A native Alabamian, Tracey brings a wealth of knowledge to her role as chair through her involvement in a number of professional organizations and civic boards, including the Birmingham Kiwanis Club, the United Way of Central Alabama, and the Valley Pearls Service Foundation. Additionally, she is a Trustee for Talladega College where she serves as Vice Chairman of the Board. Tracey is also a 2008 graduate of Leadership Birmingham, a 2009 graduate of Momentum, and a 2015 graduate of Leadership Shelby County.
“Having been a board member for The Women’s Fund since 2014, I’ve seen the organization take on increasingly ambitious goals each year to strategically accelerate economic security for women in our region. Keeping this momentum going is critical to growing our philanthropic investments, expanding our advocacy, and building our research,” said Tracey. “I am honored to lead this organization and remain deeply committed to its vision of a world where power and possibility are not limited by gender.”
Tracey and her husband Jeff Adams reside in Shelby County, Alabama with their son, Jeffery. She is a Life Member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and a member of The Links, Incorporated. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Montevallo and a master’s degree in business administration from Samford University. Currently, Tracey is a doctoral student at Alabama State University, pursuing a PhD in Educational Leadership, Policy, Law, and Research.
