The Women’s Fund is now accepting applications for our 2017 grant cycle Women’s Economic Security: Moving Families Beyond Poverty. If your organization is considering applying, please review the Request For Proposals (RFP) carefully.

Grant applications are due Thursday, September 15.

The Women’s Fund of Greater Birmingham is committed to empowering women in the difficult move beyond poverty by creating positive change for women and their children through collaboration, grantmaking, and advocacy. For the 2017 grant cycle, The Women’s Fund will fund programs that strengthen the economic security of single women and their families. We award grants to non-profit organizations, with priority given to two-generation collaborative efforts, in the five-county metropolitan area: Blount, Jefferson, Shelby, St. Clair, and Walker. The Women’s Fund of Greater Birmingham will give grants to area non-profits in the amount of$10,000 to $25,000 for one-year.

Potential grantees are strongly encouraged to attend our grant information session on Friday, August 26 at ArchitectureWorks (130 19th Street South, Birmingham, AL 35233).
